Serving Chicago families since 2014, Lil Stars provides nurturing, play-based care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Our small-group, home-like setting gives each child individual attention while supporting social-emotional growth, early learning, creativity, and independence.

What Families Say

What are your operating hours?

Our operating hours are from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Do you provide meals for the children?
Yes, we provide nutritious meals and snacks for the children throughout the day.

What is your staff-to-child ratio?
Our staff-to-child ratio is 1:4 for infants, 1:6 for toddlers, and 1:8 for preschoolers.

Enrolling our kids into Lil Stars Home Daycare was one of the best decisions for our family! My 2 year old and twins (8 months) absolutely love and adore Natalie & Vanessa. Leaving your babies in someone else’s care can be tough, but Natalie really makes an active effort to help parents feel comfortable. Her communication and follow up is outstanding. They also use an app which is great to track how the day is going. (Includes diaper changes, bottle feedings, meal times, naps, photos, etc!) Our kids just started attending in September, but it is so clear the relationship they have established with my little ones. I appreciate the routine that is in place while also leaving room for flexibility based on the child. The environment is warm, friendly and feels like home to the kiddos!

We love Natalie and Vanessa! As a first responder family with a non-traditional schedule, we searched and searched for a provider that could be flexible with our needs. Natalie and Vanessa are warm and welcoming and Lil Stars is a great place for kids to learn and play! We are so grateful for their care and our kids love spending time there!

Both Natalie and Vanessa are amazing! My son has been going there for over a year and he absolutely loves it. The facility is very clean they are amazing and patient with the children.. Prior to finding this daycare we had looked at many others and just were not satisfied with our results.. We are so happy we came across Lil Stars home daycare they come highly recommended!!!!
